Great site despite the weather
Lovely natural layout with lots of nooks and crannies to ensure you are not overlooked, if that’s your preference. Site is very quiet apart from the rain and acorns from trees on roof of van, but that’s the country and the Lake District in October for you!! Lots of easy walks from site and nice pubs in comfortable walking distance. The on site takeaway pizza/fish & chip van was very good and welcome after a long walk. It’s a lovely site and we felt very safe with COVID restrictions implemented and adhered to.
