Easy to explore area

We had a lovely week at Crystal Palace, it is so easy to get into London. The number 3 bus stop is a few minutes from the site entrance, this takes you to Whitehall/Horse Guards, once there it is easy to visit any part of London. Also if you are lucky you can travel on London buses for free by using your bus pass. To use the tube get off the bus at Brixton. We didn't spend much time on the site itself so can't comment on much about the site. From the site you can walk through Crystal Palace park and walk into Crystal Palace town. We didn't move our car from when we arrived to when we left, apart from a quick visit to the petrol station to fill up with fuel. The only thing we feel should be addressed is that we were told the site entrance was in the Low Congestion area,, we registered with the Low Emissions zone but at no point did we receive any charges, which was most welcome All in all a lovely visit, one that we shall certainly do again

Campervan actually! The grass pitches are perfect for the awning. This site is the most convenient for us to visit our son and his wife in London. It is situated in CP park which is lovely and enables a short walk into the town avoiding the busy road. The town has most shops, bars and restaurants that we needed it also has a Saturday street market which is great. From the bus station you can travel to other parts of London easily. We used local buses and the number 3 to central London which was a pleasant journey.

The staff were very friendly and kept the site and facilities clean and tidy. It would be a great loss to everyone if this site had to close. It is NOT within the ULEZ zone!
