Suited Our Needs Perfectly

Friendly and informative greeting from the warden who advised on dog walking routes from the site. Located a pitch at the rear of the site which was level and very peaceful providing us with a lovely outlook over the fields. However, a quick look round the site did identify that many of the pitches are sloping - blocks required and it was interesting that not many people had awnings up. We chose to use our own facilities but did make use of the laundry - tokens required which are available from the warden during office hours. Site was immaculate so all credit to the wardens. Dog walk is through a gate directly into the woods - plenty of alternative routes if you choose to walk out of the site and along the pavement towards the village (this route also means you could walk to Culloden Battlefield site). We didn't tour round as much as we would have liked (fuel shortages) but did spend a day on The Black Isle - plenty to see - plus a visit to Fort George and Nairn. Highly recommended and would definitely use again.
