Recently stayed here for 5 nights on our way home from Scotland. The site is well maintained by the wardens who are constantly working to keep it that way. The covid precautions were the best we've seen on any site we've visited so far. As other reviewers have mentioned there is no toilet/shower block so you need to use your onboard facilities. The service points are well positioned around the site and none are too far to get to. The site is ideally place for visiting the western lakes and coast. Ennerdale, Loweswater and Buttermere are within easy reach but you need to be there fairly early to ensure you can park reasonably close to any walks.
