Clean well maintained site with a brook and red squirrels, no internet, no tv signal, lovely walks. All good. Lack of toilet facilities marks it down and (in my experience) makes it less than ideal for families and the very short pitches required parking sideways as I didn’t fancy reversing into the brook! It really is the perfect place for a retreat - shutting out the world for a few days with no tv or social media. Sadly we arrived for a pre-booked weekend break the day before the Euro ‘21 football final. Not being able to watch wasn’t an option so we adjourned to a nearby Posting Inn to see the game and (after a few beers) overnight for free in their car park.
