Stayed here over the August bank holiday. Had a lovely 5 nights here. It is so peaceful and tranquil. You could here the sound of the stream running nearby. We were lucky to have some wonderful weather. It's definitely not for those who are looking for pubs nearby. We didn't see any nearby. The relieve wardens were friendly and always said hello when they saw you. Embeddable water is nearby and is a beautiful place to visit you could walk round the lake for hours. Will certainly visit again next year. There is no play area for children so may not appeal to those who have children. The dog area is good. Defiantly give it give stars.
