We’ve visited this site for many years, and always thought it good value for money. We were there over Easter Bank Holiday, and were most unhappy. We were on a new hardstanding, along with our friends, also on a new hardstanding. Both pitches have no drainage whatsoever, resulting in both awnings being constantly underwater. In fairness to the warden, he attempted to cut drainage channels at the sides of the pitches, but to no avail. The site is now badly in need of some serious TLC, with roads and surrounding areas in need of attention. I believe that this site is no longer value for Money, at £18.00 per night, £20.00 per night at Bank Holiday, with CLs in the area offering full facilities f or £3.00/£5.00 less than Dolaucothi. Our thanks to all the wardens who have been so helpful and efficient over the years we have visited, but our visits are now over.
