We went here for 10 days on our Honeymoon. All we wanted was a beautiful site, beautiful surroundings and a superb peaceful break and base to explore Wales. That's exactly what we got ! We were pretty tired when we arrived from the drive and Paul and Paula explained everything we needed to know about the site, the area and of course the wonderful Dolaucothi Mines on the same estate. Paul was superb at guiding us around the site and advising on which spot would be best for sun/ shade etc and boy did he get it spot on ! Thanks for your patience as we were a bit out of practice with the caravan lol. We were there 10 Days and would've liked to have stayed longer. Everything you need for peace and quiet. Excellent walks around the local area. We had a lovely walk around reservoir Llyn Brianne. We travelled to Brecon a couple of times, an hour or so drive away on lovely Welsh roads. Did a nice bit of fishing nearby in some lakes.We needed another week or so to really get stuck in to the area though. A lovely minimalist site, loos and power is all you need to really enjoy where you're staying. Didn't miss or need WIFI. The video and library shed (we called it 'our Blockbusters) has a wealth of information about things to do in the area and you can rent a book out or a DVD for a tiny amount. Brilliant. Keep this site a secret and don't tell anyone so we can keep it to ourselves for next time ! Thank you very, very much for such a wonderful, clean, well kept beautiful site.
