Coronavirus points The check in process at the site is brilliant with no contact or requirement to go inside. Brilliantly done. There were cues for the toilets and showers but they are understandably restricted. I never witnessed any non members using the toilets, they used the car park toilets as many members were doing, non members would not have bands for a start. What really baffled me is why so many people are reluctant to use their own facilities, in two weeks our family showered every day in the van and used the van toilet without exception. There is a global pandemic do what you can to look after your own health. Site related points The site is in tip top condition and the location is just superb for anyone who wants to have a relaxing beach holiday. My family had a lovely break here for probably the fifth or sixth year in a row. We love it. It can be a busy site for wardens as they have a tremendous amount of turnover which has increased in recent years due to NC500 success which also brings less experienced campers but the wardens keep things working really well. There are loads of lovely places to visit and brilliant drives to be had. Orkney is not far away but would definitely recommend using the CL network and spending a week their, there is so much to do.
