Great stopover with direct accces to a long beach

First I would like to say thank you for extending this site's opening period for the year however we had originally written off stopping off here as the CAMC still has last year's dates and stated the site closed on 24th September! If it hadn't been for the site very prominent location next to the main road then we would have remained oblivious. A stop off here alerted us to the fact that the opening period of both sites at Brora and Kinlochewe had also been extended. Unfortunately we had already passed Kinlochewe but were able to take advantage of the site at Brora. I hope the club will take this error on the app into consideration when they assess the merits of extending the season at these sites. So yes this site backs on to a main road but you have to remember the location of this main road on the north coast of Scotland miles beyond the last location of any major supermarket etc so there are no Asda HGVs thundering past during the night as we have at home! The WiFi hotspot is not great so we didn't bother but we had a decent 4G signal with EE that we didn't really mind. Which is worth mentioning in the respect that on our tour of the north of Scotland coastline we rarely with 4G which allowed us to stay up to date with the news and some TV when TV reception was poor. The pitches are all grass and in great condition given the time of our visit and to be honest it was a joy pitching on grass as too often we only ever consider hard standing. A final thank you to the lovely wardens and in particular to the gentleman who brought over my phone when I left it in reception on booking in.
