As an update to my recent review of Durham Grange site which is a lovely well managed camp site with a relaxed atmosphere in a country location. Should you be looking for a day out or evening drive then your only 25 minutes from the beautiful Sea Front at Sunderland. With its wide promenade and lovely walks and beaches. and the welcome return of the Famous "Sunderland illuminations and Festival on lights" at Roker Park right next to the beaches. Including a big funfair etc lots of bars and places to eat and great fun for the kids and adults alike. You can drive through 2 miles of lights in your car on camper without leaving your vehicle and lots of parking all through the route. Dont forget to also visit the amazing World Heritage "Durham Cathedral "and take a guided tour .! suggest the park and ride for Durham which is only 300 meters away. ( and has Motorhome spaces ) Enjoy your stay at Durham Grange .
