We stayed here earlier on in the year, with our dog and decided to return to do some walking up Arthur’s Seat and across the Forth Road Bridge. Unfortunately our dog hurt her foot so we did neither! The site was beautiful again well manicured and very clean. The wardens were very pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately this time, perhaps because it was summer there was a lot more local traffic noise. I’m not talking aircraft but cars, motorbikes etc. Speeding along the front road. This is not good for our nervous dog so wouldn’t return. But if we didn’t have her and wanted to sample the delights of Edinburgh we would definitely return. We had no criticism of the site unfortunately the road noise is not for our hound.
