A little gem

We stopped here for just one night on the way back from travelling around Scotland. It is a great location, in lovely countryside but yet not far off the M6. The grounds are beautiful, spacious pitches and most quite private. A slight problem was that some pitches were too shady because of the trees, making it quite dark. For our two lively dogs it was heaven. A large enclosed field where they could run around and a nice walk through the woods and along a track to the Greyhound Pub that was dog friendly. We would echo a previous review that the grey waste for motorhomes was very difficult to access (ours comes out in the centre of the van) meaning that none of it actually went in the drain! But that was only a small irritation. The staff were helpful and kept the grounds in tip top condition and a lovely touch was the Fairy Glen. We will definitely stop here again if travelling north-such good value for money.
