Small and peaceful site with nature right on your doorstep, the site had lots of bird feeders and plenty of birdsong as a result, this site is a must for animal lovers with Red squirrels onsite although the hide needs updating. The staff were very friendly and welcoming when we arrived which is nice to see. This is a very relaxing site just outside of the Lake District and would make a lovely base to visit from. We only stayed one night on the way down from the highlands but we wish we had stayed much longer, we will definitely be returning for another longer stay.
