Another lovely stay

I have written before about the benefits of staying at Exebridge, which is why we returned for the 5th time. The wardens were very welcoming, and extremly hard working. The weather this week was pretty poor and the grass pitches soon became water logged, but they were kept open with regular upkeep. I only saw one that was closed. If members are careful, then grass pitches should last all season. Not like the bloke who reversed onto the pitch next to us and then, seeing another that he preferred, spun his wheels pulling off and leaving behind 2 deep furrows. It beggars belief. Regarding road noise, I can see that this would be a problem if you are in a roadside pitch and want to stay on site all day, so get out and enjoy the stunning countryside. The road is very quiet at night though, so sleeping was never a problem. The dog walk area is exceptional, possibly the best of any site we have been to, and the public areas are clean and modern
