This has to be our favourite site

Yesterday we returned home from out 5th visit to Exmoor House in 3 years - this has to be our favourite site! Its perfectly located within the Exmoor National Park which offers fantastic scenery and all that Exmoor has to offer including the opportunity to spot the wild deer (North of Simonsbath). There are lots of good walks direct from the site including the 13 mile stretch along the river and up to Hawkridge and Tarr Stepps and back (the Sunday roast was worth it). There are lots of shops for all our everyday needs within the small charming town of Dulverton including a good pub, wine bar/restaurant, butchers and a well stocked Co-op all within easy walking distance from the site (don’t miss the fabulous cream-tea at Marsh Bridge - a must!). However, perhaps this is our favourite site because of the site itself. A warm welcome from the Wardens always awaits us to this immaculate site. At the entrance there is wonderful welcoming display of summer flowers with all their colours - a delight on the eye (especially the marvellous hanging baskets). The toilet blocks are always clean and tidy as are the pitches. The Wardens are clearly dedicated in their role here, always with a smile, always helpful and always at hand if needed. We’ll be back again!
