Good for families

Very, very poor site.

This is nothing more than a very basic site with minimal facilities. The site is next door to a nesting site for crows in huge numbers which were very noisy throughout the day from 4.00 a.m. onwards until very late at night. Even in the night there was noise when they were, I guess, startled by something. The answer of the site management was to let off huge bangers to scare the crows from their own nesting site; all day! As the crows flew off they covered cars and vans in droppings and were back in a few minutes anyway. The toilets are far from the hard standing as is the disabled toilet and the wash-up "shed". There was plenty of mud still about on the "hard standing" which was basically a well used shingle bed. The toilets and showers were distinctly uncared for - dirty floors, one working light between five toilets in the ladies, no shower curtain or splash containment so that anything on the floor of the cubicle got thoroughly wet. Why don't these people try out their own facilities and discover just how user unfriendly they are? If the management want to improve this site I suggest that they get some club members in there to show them what is required. Also, LEAVE THE CROWS ALONE place the vans and motorhomes on the other side of the site. The crows were there long before those wishing to make money out of the land.
