LOVELY SITE NEAR FANTASTIC BEACH

Visited September 2019. My husband had booked this site as it was central, as meeting a couple of friends at the same site. When I read some of the reviews I was a little cautious as other caravan and motorhome sites we had stayed on were so friendly. What I will say is you can take on board reviews but visit and find out for yourself. On booking in I walked through the door and was greeted with a Hello Mrs ***** think it was a good guess due to our numberplate but it was an excellent start. The lady was very friendly and gave good advice on where best it would be to pitch up as our friends would be on the pitch next door. The site itself is very big but well maintained. The toilet/shower blocks as usual were of a high standard and very clean. I had read one review that no staff were ever seen on site - however this was not the case there was always someone around, collecting rubbish, cleaning, mowing the grass etc and they were all very friendly. We have a very old dog who cannot walk very far so we have to use a pram so very limited on walks but it was a 5 minute walk to local pub and beach which was lovely. There is another nice pub in the village but its up a very very steep hill BUT it was well worth the walk as good location and very nice food and friendly staff. Visited Tenby about 15/20 min drive away which was lovely. Excellent stay and likely to stay here again in the future. Wifi on site is hit and miss and has to be paid for but it is what it is as phone signal in the area is terrible but at least you can't be contacted which added to the peace and quiet.
