we have been to this site in the past when the previous owner had the site and it was very good. we thought we would do a short weekend this time and looking forward to it. upon arrival we was allocated a certain pitch which was not so good when i counted 14 pitches empty all weekend. the warden said we cant change . why ? very uneven pitch and small bits of slate everywhere. the whole drive and all pitches are very bitty slate what panthers into your awing /unit making a right mess. . from what i seen the warden wanted to get all units on the outside to look busy but just putting anyone anywhere. the first night we had a campervan either side of us and alls we heard all night is sliding doors of the campervan and then again in the morning. no sleep . when i opened the blinds up i was shocked to see some woman letting her 2 dogs mess right at the back of my van. they then proceeded to walk at the back of all the vans thinking it was the dog walk. she was not the only one. where was the respect the site and the other peoples privacy. saying that the one dog walk field was full of cows with horns so i don't think id be going in it. the other field to walk dogs was sheep but it was a muddy field with sheep in and you come back with it all over your shoes. toilets was functional but 3 * overall id say this site needs to improve the small pitches /dog walks/ get rid of the terrible slate drive and please take a very experienced warden on whos is friendly/ good customer service . they are the face of your business. it was the worst weekend in history sorry.
