Just spent 12 nights at this lovely site, which is about half a mile from the main road. The final 200 yards is interesting as narrow with high hedges and limited visibility. Thankfully the road is very quiet. Pitches are excellent and we found that being on the perimeter was good. There were some cows in the field behind but you rarely heard them and they certainly did not disturb. For those liking wildlife there were red kites and buzzards daily. The shower block was spotless, even during the really busy Jubilee weekend. The serviced pitches are level and ample size to allow for an awning. The pitches do have a slate topping but this did not cause us any problem and none got in the caravan. A short walk down the lane takes you to Rhug farm shop, cafe and even a drive through takeaway. Corwen is only about a mile or so and has some shops, cafes and takeaways. There is lots to see and do in the area. Staff at the site were excellent. It was refreshing to be on a site that is not plastered with rules! We did connect to the TV socket on our bollard as this gave us so many more channels. The free Wi-Fi was also good to carry out browsing and email. Would happily recommend this as a place to stay.
