We booked in advance as a stop off point on our trip from Surrey to Kintyre. The site location whilst a little off the beaten track is simply beautiful and worth the diversion. Immaculately maintained and polite efficient welcome. We only stopped for one night but will certainly keep this in mind for future trips. There is a local shop about a mile walk (you need to order a paper the day before) and a nice wee pub with hearty food some local produce. It is a picture postcard site and the owners clearly care, with planters kerbs and other features well maintained adding to the ambiance. We would have stayed longer were we not scheduled elsewhere. A good service point for water and toilets. An interesting history about the town in notices spread around and a long beach great for early morning / late evening walks. A quiet spot and with good weather somewhere we would happily settle for 4 or 5 days at least. We have no beef about WiFi . . but that's perhaps a generational thing ! . . We loved the site.
