Lovely site about 20 minutes walk from the beach. The pitches at the top of the site give you a lovely view of the sea and Godrevy Lighthouse. However, those pitches are very exposed and when the wind blew it rocked our motorhome and the noise of rain on the roof kept us awake. Unfortunately, there is only one place that it is possible to empty a toilet cassette and that is at the shower block. It is not too bad having to walk some distance for a shower, from the far end of the site, but dragging a toilet cassette that far was unpleasant. This is the only reasonably large site that I have used with only one chemical toilet emptying point and it is also some distance from the motorhome waste point. The local bus to St Ives had stopped running when we were there so we tried out the C&MC arrangement with Enterprise Rent-A-Car. They picked us up from the site and drove us to their office in Penzance. We hired a Vauxhall Corsa for two days and they returned us to the site at the end of the hire. We did over 100 miles and they charged us £73.32 (plus petrol) for the two days and that we considered to be very good value.
