We went to Gowerton for 6 nights in August. The site was clean and the wardens friendly, we are relatively new to Motorhoming and have never taken our vehicle off-site once pitched up so they gave great advice and lent us a sign to reserve our pitch. The beaches they recommended were wonderful, including Rhossili and Oxwich where as promised we could easily park our motorhome with no problems (we got there early, parked up and cooked breakfast!). The town was a bit disappointing but there is a new tapas bar open and there is a pub on the traffic lights called The Commercial (although we never went in). We visited the Harvester which is not too far away. The train station is very handy and on a rainy Wednesday we got the train to Cardiff where there are lots of shops and restaurants. We will definitely return and visit this area again.
