Great site

We have just had our second stay here and it’s a great site. Very clean and the wardens busy all the time and very friendly, plenty of lovely peaceful walks around. Looking forward to staying again next year. A brilliant pizza van twice a week.

Nice, neat and small site

Nice site very neat small - 49 hardstanding 20 grass pitches. Very peaceful. One of the most expensive so far though! Walk to the lake via lovely farmland and beside bluebell woods, plus 8 mile walk around the lake. Good cowslips, bugle and other wild flowers.

very friendly

this site was very quiet and friendly with both staff and other visitors offering to help after we forgot to pack our aqua roll and realised our additional water tank in the garage of our motorhome was empty. It has plenty of green spaces between the pitches and does not feel like you are crammed in. There are fields with public pathways from the site where your dog can run free and a short walk to grafham water. Ate at the wheatsheaf Inn near grafham water food was excellent and dogs welcome would definitely recommend a visit

Hidden Jewel

We have been caravanning since 2008 and in this time we have travelled extensively in the UK seeking out those distant corners to explore and in which to relax in. In our quest for new horizons and adventures we had completely overlooked what can be found almost literally on our doorstep and this was certainly the case with our five night stay at Grafham Water in May 2022. It is a big advantage to have a good knowledge of any area and this beautiful corner of Cambridgeshire is familiar to us with its charming market towns of St Neots, St Ives and Huntingdon close by and good cycling routes available to get there. A little further afield are the Cities of Peterborough and Cambridge. The site itself is well laid out on a gentle slope with access to open countryside at the back of the site and easy walking to the huge reservoir of Grafham Water to join the cyclable track around the lakes circumference. The sanitary conveniences and recycling facilities are well maintained and the showers probably among the most sizeable we have encountered. Ideal, with lenty of space for parents managing young children. The site wardens are professional and efficient in their daily routines, always courteous as is normal for C & MH Club sites and they have ensured that the site is maintained to a high standard. We can guarantee that we will be returning, making that rather tiresome journey of less than 15 miles from home but once arrived and set up we could be almost anywhere and completely relaxed and on holiday!!

Standards are as high as ever

I wrote back in september last year that this site had become one of our 'go-to' sites and I see no reason to change that comment having just spent another couple of nights here. Clean, quiet and friendly this place sets the bar very high on standards. Grafham Water is a lovely area, we tend to park down at Perry in our motorhome and walk from there, it is quieter than the other 2 parking lots and has a lovely cafe overlooking the water. Frankly I don't know how many times we have stayed here but once or twice a year it makes a super 2 night stop for us in our motorhome.

Superb site!

We stayed here at short notice and the staff went out of their way to accommodate an extra night for us. The site had the most immaculate and cleanest toilets/showers we’ve ever experienced and the site itself was superbly maintained. The staff made sure the campers were all happy as they did the rounds checking in with everyone. We’ve never seen staff this attentive before so all praise to them. On top of that we discovered the local shop and pub, both of which fulfilled our needs! The staff and the site made our stay simply brilliant…

Excellent site.

The site is well looked after and handy for local walks particularly around Grafham water or through Brampton wood. It is also a short walk to an excellent Indian restaurant which we enjoyed for a meal on our wedding anniversary. The site wardens Julie and Andrew are top notch, they are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough to help you. They made our stay even more enjoyable and it was well worth the journey down the M6 & A14 from the North West.

Excellent site 5 stars from me

We are regular visitors to this site it is absolutely wonderful. We have been Campervaning for a few years now and I have to say the site is in my top two. Why not number one ? Ok it is joint first. A well run site which is clean and tidy. We normally go to adults only sites however the Wardens make sure that everything is quiet by 10pm and children are kept under control. Things to do: we don’t do much other than sit in our van and relax with a glass or two of wine. We do however make frequent the excellent local community pub which is only a short walk away. 5 stars from me

Love this site!

I absolutely love Grafham Water site, can’t say that about my Golden Retriever though, she is scared of loud noises, the local farmers have gas poppers going every half an hour which is loud my Goldy thinks it’s a firework and was petrified. The first time we came we had to cut out break short because of this as my Goldy was so scared, I have returned many times on my own without her. We came again a few weeks ago and completely forgot about the noise until we had set up, we were only there for a quick 2 nights away, it didn’t start until the Saturday morning, we kept her in the caravan so she alcohols to hear it, but will only return again when I’m on my own. On the other hand this site is ideal for walkers and families, it has a park and is so close to Grafham water which is a 9 mile circular walk, with lots of water sports and a lovely park and cafe. Also lots of walks from the site doing geo caching which is a great hobby of no one has tried it. (Google it!) Lovely clean showers and toilets, an Owl sometimes makes an appearance on the bird table in an evening.
