A little gem

My first visit here and it’s really lovely. Not a big site by any means and i pitched on the grassy area at the top of the hill. It’s really hidden away around the corner with space for 5 units...our own little CL with CC facilities.Bit of a haul taking water up though! Now the facilities are perfectly clean and adequate enough and i didn’t have to wait at anytime but as others have said, they are a little bit tatty round the edges and in need of a refurb. I still don’t understand why there are always more privacy cubicles than appear necessary, in my experience not many people use them. Anyhow in the ladies, one of the hot taps didn’t work. The staff are brilliant, no doubt and the dog walk is very good, even spied a Sika deer one evening...The walk to Corfe Castle from the site is rather pleasant with only about 100 yards road walking. I went to the model village at Corfe Castle. What a waste of time, i was in and out in 5 minutes! The approach is narrow and i beg people NOT to arrive before 12. 1, you will not get in as the staff are away until 12 doing other things and 2, you have every chance of meeting someone leaving before 12 and if it’s me, i will not budge...I personally don’t think this is a site for families. There’s a decent playing field though but that’s about it
