Great for Walking

We have stayed at this site many times, and it never disappoints. Apart from the peaceful location, one of the key benefits for us is that there is such good walking from the site. Apart from hopping in the car each morning to pick up the daily paper, we've left it parked where it is. It's a fifteen minute walk to the King's Arms in Langton across some lovely fields - good beer and food. Mind you, I got into trouble from my better half after checking out a wild water swim spot at Dancing Ledge, after a large lunch plus refreshment at said pub that did not combine well with the six miles on foot that followed. No, I didn't go for a swim after the lunch. Winspit is a better wild swim spot as is Chapmans Pool that are similar distances from the site. Note, Dancing Ledge and Winspit are for confident swimmers only. For something more leisurely, there is a great cafe take away in Worth which is about thirty minutes walk away. There is also a good looking pub there too, which I've not visited yet - only a matter of time. Corfe and Swanage are also easily walkable from the site. There are great views of Poole Harbour from the hill across the valley from the site. We will be back.
