My wife and I just bought our first caravan and this was our first time away in it. The wardens were fantastic and really helpful, the site was immaculate and really peaceful. We couldn't have asked for anything more and would definitely recommend this site. Hebden bridge village is definitely worth a visit.
peace and quiet
cracking site lovely walks up the valley, try the robin hood for good food and ale.go to craggies farm shop for good meat and treats.will be back soon.
peacefull relaxing stay
just returned from a 2 night stay. Was very peacefull and relaxing but 2 nights not long enough. tried to visit nearby hebden bridge on saturday but could not get parked, i would reccomend visiting hebden bridge by getting the bus there. there is a bus stop just outside the site which goes every hour. when we visit again will use the bus as parking is very limited. The wardens are very friendly and helpfull.
Two weekend getaways
Just had two lovely weekend breaks on this site. We found the wardens and their assistants to be very friendly and helpful. The site is kept very tidy and its in a very pleasant location in Cragg Vale. There is very handy bus service which runs from right outside the entrance into Hebden Bridge. Although no dog walk on site there are plenty close by off site.
Very enjoyable weekends which we hope to repeat soon.

One night break
This was our second visit in 3 months as it is close to home, the site was again clean and tidy, very friendly staff who are more than happy to help where they can, we pitched on a road side pitch (13) during the day there can be road noise but night time is quiet, pub down the road still not open but sign says opening soon which will be good, got the bus into Hebden and had an enjoyable afternoon/evening just a few places still closed after floods but overall back to normal true Yorkshire spirit, will be returning soon.
Worth a visit
Found site well looked after and ideal for walks in and around the area Hebden bridge worth a visit still a few signs of the flooding but hopefully getting there needs more visitors. Will be back.
Nice site worth a visit even.with the kids...
Lovely small site, well kept and unspoilt location...stayed on grass pitch close to road but not too noisey. Lovely walk to hebden bridge... kids loved been able to cycle round on their bikes but no play area. Small little shop and wardens were nice. Had a lovely day in Hardcastle Crags and spent a few days roind the campsite. We will certainly use this well maintained site in the future.
Spring Visit
This small non-facility site, which has both H/S and grass pitches is easily accessed, being about a mile from the A646 Halifax-Burnley road at Mytholmroyd. It is well sheltered being in the valley of Cragg Vale, although some of the pitches are under trees. There are bus stops just outside of the site, for those who don't want to move their vehicles, with services to Hebden Bridge and beyond one way and to Huddersfield the other. There are a couple of supermarkets in the village as well as a number of pubs and cafes. There are many walks in the area, such as to Hardcastle Crags and upto Stookely Pike. We will certainly use this well maintained site in the future.
