This is our second time to this site, the first one many years ago. It is a very good site and well run. There are no facilities re Toilets etc, but we knew that and accepted it. Well laid out, quite small but also expected. We were on the upper level as such, up a rise to the left of the entrance road, no problem to get in or pitch. We had this pitch allocated at we were arriving mid afternoon on a Saturday. Good hard standing pitch but unfortunately, slightly under trees and it rained on 4 of the 6 days we were there. Also there was some road noise as it backs onto some trees and bushes then a well used road, we hardly noticed it but were aware of the road. The site was re-modelled some time ago and what an improvement. For those who want them there are some good fully serviced pitches but you are not far away on any pitch to the service point for water, loo emptying, waste etc. The downside, and this is not the sites fault is the queueing to turn off the main road into the road to the site, there are long term works being done for flood relief after the 2015 floods, no danger to the site though that we could see, the river passing the site was at least 20feet below lower site level and would not expect any problems. We had a good time there and would think of going again if we needed to be in that area.
