What are all the moans about??
Just had two nights stay here in our campervan, and our first at a CAMC site as new members. My goodness, if you’d read some of the recent reviews you’d probably give it a swerve but we were pleasantly surprised. Lovely staff and friendly welcome, site clean, tidy, and vans/motorhomes not crammed in and the facilities are perfectly adequate - and kept clean. Crikey, we’ve stayed in far worse so not quite sure what 5 star luxury other members are expecting? Yes, the road is a busy one as it links Henley to Marlow and so is noisy (especially at peak times). We were lucky as managed to pitch up at the back of the site so had less impact from it but would’ve had no problems putting up with it if closer. There is very little the club can do about that for goodness sake so think that criticism is harsh and the plus side is it’s very convenient for getting into Henley - we did the walk in 20 mins and there are footpaths to use and you’re conveniently located on a main road to get to other places. We’d have no problems staying here again and enjoyed our stay.
