We had a free weekend so decided to head off in the caravan to Henley to enjoy the pretty town and finish off our Christmas shopping. The site is easily accessible from the M40 and is quiet at this time of year. As ever, we received a warm welcome from the wardens and were advised to pitch up at the back of the site to avoid the road noise (good advice!). The site was spotlessly clean and the shower block was toasty warm. The site is a10-15 minute easy walk into the town with a footpath all the way although you might consider taking a torch after dark. There are bus stops about 5 minutes walk from the site entrance. There are lots of places to visit nearby and we made good use of our National Trust membership. We've already booked for a pre-Christmas break next year.
