This site was OK. We would return as the town was very convenient and nice and there are also lots of places you can go by train or bus. Road noise doesn't normally bother us but it was quite annoying. It maybe because of the very bad rain we had while we were there. We were told to go on the pitch we were on when we arrived, this may have been because we arrived about 7pm and it was very dark so I am guessing they were trying to be helpful, which in a way is good but we would have preferred a pitch further away from the road. Not sure if this was available on this occasion but whenever we return we would make sure we go for longer and get there earlier so that we had some choice. Due to the bad weather on the Saturday we asked on the Sunday morning if we could park in the car park which was quite big tbh. We were however told no because they were full! This was a little disappointing as we weren't asking to stay on the pitch until 2-3pm just to use the car park that was almost empty! When it is going to rain take your wellies to get to the toilet block as the water just sits there and doesn't drain away so you have no choice but to walk through it or go on the sodden grass which doesn't do that any good.
