A quiet spot for a stopover

We came to High Onn to break our return north. It provided a peaceful spot to rest (except that we then walked a few miles across fields, along the canal and back along quiet lanes). It is a lovely setting and interesting in that must have been a military camp once and there are air raid shelters in adjacent fields. The only quibble was the dog walk, not on site but across the road and despite being extensive and well-fenced, required dogs to be kept on leads.
