We have been using this site on and off quite regularly over the years, love the peace and quiet with lovely helpful wardens a bonus. However, on our recent visits it has become apparent that some money needs to be spent by the club, particularly on the hardstanding pitches. The weed growth encroaching on to some of the pitches, is quite simply not acceptable. I am led to believe that using weedkillers is not possible. (health and safety?) That said, something needs to be done and soon or hard standing pitches will just become weed standing pitches!! It was also noted that the grass generally was quite long and grass cutting appears not to be as frequent as it used to be, is this policy now? So come on Club Treasurer spend some money and improve this little gem of a site, please!!!
