Stayed 4 nights on this site. Have been once before, so knew what to expect. Not at all busy when we arrived, so had a good choice of pitches. Not difficult to find something level. The site filled up over the bank holiday weekend, but it never felt overcrowded. Its a very quiet and peaceful place with some nice walks and cycle rides direct from the site. The local roads/lanes are quiet, but are narrow and are not in good condition. Also, the signage is not always particularly good, so a local map would have been useful. However, that said we always found our way back without too much difficulty. We didn't have any need to ask anything of the wardens, but they were always friendly and cheerful when spoken to. The site is spacious, well maintained and very clean and tidy.
