This was our second short stay at High Onn. It is quite remote but this adds to its peaceful and gentle nature. The wardens are of course, lovely and friendly and add to the feeling that this is a brilliantly run CL. Plenty of walking and cycling. This is where those tiny empty roads come into their own. Wheaton Aston is very close with several pubs, there is also Church Eaton. Both can be accessed by walking along the Shropshire union canal. If you want to get away from it all and still be close to the motorway network, this is a great site.
