Although we stayed here for 2 nights as a stopover travelling North there are things to do if you have a short stay. We visited Shugborough estate (NT) where you can easily spend a day. There are also several local walks/ cycle ride from the site. The warden is happy to provide printed sheets of these. The wardens are friendly and it is a nice quiet site. Own facilities are required and some pitches do not have awning space. There are several seasonal pitches. Local pubs were closed during our visit due to Covid but we had a good Indian take away from Momtaj Spice in Wheaton Aston. Approach roads are narrow so do follow instructions in Club handbook. Facilities and cleanliness rating pertains to Cleanliness as there are no facilities.
