I have found nothing but kindness and helpfulness from every CCS I've visited so far but the couple at High Onn are in a league of their own in this respect. The gentleman(in every sense of the word) who had fixed my wing mirror for me on my first visit in July, went out on his way, on his "day off" to ensure that I was prepared for the maze of roads to get me back on the A5. A brilliant couple in a beautifully maintained site. Stayed there on way back north last time and going south this time,and it is a great peaceful break after a days driving.. not easy to find with or without sat nav though.? A road sign or two would be helpful. I was assisted on the way in by a generous local who drove to it with me behind her... so locals are friendly too. Wiĺl use again..probably every time I go down south as it is ideally placed for about the time when I need a break... And you really do feel like you've had a break!
