We thought this place was fantastic! We were running late and had a call from the manager at 4 to see if everything was ok and to check we were still coming. On arrival, however late we were, she was very helpful, courteous and efficient. We’re usually off gridders and so found the site luxurious. Massive pitches. Plenty of room to manoeuvre. Loved the privacy hedges too. Facilities were the best we’ve ever seen! Warm, clean and underfloor heating!!?? Spoilt. The dog area is the biggest we’ve seen too! A large area for lead walking and a further very secure gated area for off lead. Plenty of poo bins. Every member of staff was friendly. Even an external trades person was friendly! Most of the people we passed said hello. A really feel good site. We went to Centry earlier in the year which is cheaper but not a patch on Hill Head. Easy to find and negotiate around the site. Can’t fault it. Shame about negative comments re new year celebrations. We weren’t there for them so can’t comment other than speaking to a couple opposite that come every year. They said it was different than previous years and went on to describe what they enjoy about it. We will undoubtedly return when we visit our family again.
