That’s why it pays to check Google Earth for all sites.

It can get noisy at peak times but it helps if you pitch away from the boundaries with the other sites.

I wouldn’t say the beach is poor but it's typical of the beaches along the Bristol Channel where the sea is always brown. The safety warnings are there because some people go too far out and get stuck in the wet sand. They even drive their cars out too far and have to be rescued! Surely the warnings are a good thing?
