Our favourite Caravan and Motorhome Club site
We have stayed at this site many times over the past few years and will continue to do so. The setting in the ruined cordite factory grounds is magical. With trees all around and separating individual placements, you never feel overlooked or crowded. The facilities are always immaculately clean and the wardens are really helpful. There are brilliant local walks in the area, especially up to Levens Hall and to the surrounding villages. It is also well placed to visit other areas within the Lakes and Yorkshire.
