Our first ever club site

This was our first visit to a club site since joining last year 2019. Due to the situation of 2020 and Covid we have not had any holidays this year and in the past we have always gone abroad On arriving at Kendal site we found a warm welcome and a charming wooded site. Our pitch was private which makes it easier with a dog. The toilet facilities where spotless and we did not have to queue to long due to the Covid rules which most followed without question. the odd moaner was soon put in place by the sensible members. The walks along the river are stunning and both myself and the dog enjoyed them however the path is rough which does mean those with reduced mobility like my wife cant enjoy any part of them. A walk or cycle up the local farm shop for coffee or a trip under the main road tunnel to the pub is well worth it has both provide excellent food. The national trust site under the tunnel is also worth a visit. Overall we were very pleased with our visit to our first club site
