We stayed at Lidalia for nights in July. It is really well cared for and the owners seem to be constantly busy keeping it this way. In the ladies there are 4 individual large bathrooms with excellent showers, sink and loo. These were a lovely treat after a long day out walking. You can walk directly from the back of the site into the woods where it is perfect for dogs to run off lead which ours loved. There are a couple of pubs in Newcastleton and a few shops. We bought the small brochure from reception with local walks in which was handy and explored some beautiful areas. ///
