We stayed here for a glorious week in September. The site is spotlessly clean and staff are very friendly. As others have said, being able to hear the Longleat animals, especially the lions, is just wonderful. It's quiet except for the sealions during the day and sometimes at night - but what's not to like? I can't comment on what it would be like in school holidays but it is family friendly and I would imagine that it's full of little people having a blast. There are lots of things to do around - use your National Trust membership and app if you have them. Bath is quite close and we had a great time at the Roman Baths this year. Thanks to all the staff who keep this place so well.
