First visit to this site on 10th September 2018 Easy to find and generally speaking an excellent location especially for motor caravaners who intend to use public transport as the regular bus service from the site entrance was excellent. Disappointed to hear when we arrived that the upper toilet/,shower block and swimming pool had shut two days earlier even though a) the site was busy and b) the pool was advertised as not shutting until mid September. I understand that a number of people expressed their disappointment about this and the Pool did in fact open up again for another week as a result. Great ...as the pool was warm and a lovely ! However the showers did not. The lower site pitches were all full and there were over 40 pitches being used at times on the top site so clearly this impacted on the number of people who were using the lower site showers etc which were now a considerable distance for many of those of us on the top site. The washing up area, the CDP and one unisex toilet were opened on the top block and I believe the disabled room was available for those who needed it and had a key but surely with so many pitches in use some of the toilets and showers should and could have been made available. The impression given was that after the first week in September the top block was shutting regardless as that was site policy. Strange as no doubt all those on top site pitches had paid the same On the plus side of things the site was very clean and tidy and although some of the grass pitches needed levellers this was made clear in the site information
