Good stopover
We stayed for just one night but wished we could have stayed longer. This is a very pleasant site, beautifully landscaped with discrete pitches. The facilities are a little dated but we’re spotlessly clean. We enjoyed an afternoon exploring the nearby Lydford Gorge and called into the local pub for a drink on our way back to the site. The locals were very friendly and the menu looked inviting. We’ll be back to cycle The Granite Way to Okehampton which starts in the village.
