Beautiful site

We stayed here for 6 nights at the end of August . The site is next to the river Lochay, and has beautiful views of the surrounding hills. If you have a kayak you can launch it from the site and have a leisurely paddle to Loch Tay for a picnic on one of the islands. We also managed to attempt some fishing on site but caught nothing. Not a skill we really possess. There are numerous walks along the Rob Roy Way and towards the Loch which are interesting, and exhausting. Our welcome was very friendly and professional and the site is well laid out and tidy. Its close to Killin with its numerous pubs and restaurants and Co-op, and the Falls of Dochart. There is also a fish and chip van near the tennis courts that makes fresh fish and chips to order.Worth a visit. There is no real bus service so you either have to have transport or just enjoy the immediate amenities, which we did. Overall a lovely site in a great location.
