Excellent as ever
Our fifth visit to Maragowan. 1. All good as in previous years. 2. Wardens - friendly, informed, approachable, efficient. 3. Site facilities - a little dated but clean and well managed. 4. Walks - varied and suitable all weather. Check out the circular walk to the Hydro station. 5. Well stocked Co-Op in town. 6. Tips - A) Canoe launch from site direct to river - just check with wardens. B) Reserve a table online at the Courie Inn. C) Take binoculars and walk down to loch shore in evening light for great views.
