We had a lovely holiday here

I booked this last minute for may half term, it was a fantastic holiday. The site is well kept and lovely scenery. We took bikes and had a few bike rides from the site, and we took kayaks which we used from the site on the river which leads to Loch Tay. The co op is close by, and there a several pubs. Would recommend visiting Kenmore and the Crannog centre, very interesting. I don’t normally use site facilities but as we were quite dirty after kayaking with muddy feet etc I decided to use shower block. They were clean but I felt they were a bit dated and grubby, but having said that I don’t normally use shower blocks so not sure what the norm standard is. Staff were lovely and helpful. I read other reviews that mentioned excessive grass cutting- I did not find this. Will be returning! My two young kids had the time of their lives meeting other kids on playground etc.
