A Little Gem
What an amazing well kept and maintained site this is. Access to the site could be described as interesting during busy periods but even with our large car/caravan outfit we had no issues, even when we met the tractor and trailer.
The welcome by Debbie and Gary was informative and genuine giving reminders about the site not having a toilet block or other facilities. Signage about Covid-19 and the amended rules were clearly visible and again explained during our check-in.
All pitches will require levelling and blocks will be required on most especially in the Paddock, however, as seasoned ralliers this posed no real issue.
Not that we have any children in our party but I have noticed someone moaning about children playing. To be honest, yes there was a number of young people riding bikes and playing, but isn't that what young people do, especially during school holidays?? We didn't see any falling out and everyone appeared to be happy and having a good time, which to be fair during these current challenging times is really important.
Located over the road is a small wood and track with lots of paths and walkways leading off, ideal for dog walking or just helping to overcome any little over indulgence one may have.
Mobile and internet signal is not great on the site which for us is important as needing signal for work which is why sadly we would not return.
If you want a great site with access to the south west or the south west then this little beauty is well worth a visit and is our circumstances change we would return.
