An incredibly warm welcome with speedy check-in was just the first of the great experiences of the Marazion site. I was personally showed to my pitch and given a great, concise intro to the site and local area along with free local maps. The site itself was immaculate, surrounded by mature trees in a peaceful location. The facilities are spotless (no toilets/showers but everything else). There is even a little shop if you've forgotten the essentials or fancy a local cake! The economy (without EHU) pitches are incredible value. It's around a 50 minute walk into the charming town of Marazion which has much to do, including visiting St Michael's Mount by causeway or boat (depending on the tide) and sampling a local pasty, fish & chips or coffee. There are some higher-end restaurants too which look amazing, if a little out of my budget :) From the site there are many peaceful country walks - ideal for dogs, kids and picnics. I can't fault the site, and the wardens have the balance 100% perfect - very friendly and welcoming, but not at all intrusive. Thank you, I'll be back someday!
